The Asia Scotland Institute is delighted to officially announce a formal partnership with the Scottish Business Network.

Press Release details can be found below.

Earlier this week, Roddy Gow, Chairman and Founder of Asia Scotland Institute and Russel Dalgleish, Chair of Scottish Business Network hosted an evening at Scotland House London. This was a unique event to encourage interaction between attendees, looking at new ways to create connections and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

One of our Student Representatives, Sean Paterson, attended this event and has written an article summarising the evening:

Scottish organisations build bridges to Asia

Thank you to all the members and supporters of both our organisations for the support and contributing to helping build a better Scotland for tomorrow’s leaders. We look forward to working together in the future!

Purpose of partnership

Our goal is to raise the profile of Scotland across Asia and to provide a conduit for Asian organisations into Scotland. We aim to achieve this through the delivery of events, and projects and by connecting individuals in both communities. Scotland has a rich history across Asia which is by any measure the most exciting, fast-growing market in the world today.

We are open to engaging with any international organisations which would like to join us in building bridges between the UK and organisations in Asia.

We are currently at the initial planning stage to deliver conferences in Delhi and Singapore later in 2023. Reach out today if you would be interested in getting involved in these.

Roddy Gow, Chairman and Founder of Asia Scotland Institute said “This is an incredible opportunity to combine our efforts to promote an understanding of what Scotland has to offer in the international markets. To educate and inspire tomorrow’s leaders by building bridges between Asia and Scotland.”

Russell Dalgleish, Chair of Scottish Business Network added “I have been inspired over many years by the achievements of Roddy and the team at Asia Scotland Institute hence I was delighted when Roddy suggested we pool our efforts. With Ambassadors and members across Asia, this partnership allows us to achieve more than we could alone.”
