Event Description

India has been making headlines in recent years for its rapidly growing economy, which has earned it the nickname of the “tiger economy.” The country’s GDP has been growing at an average rate of 7% per year, making it one of the fastest-growing major economies in the world. But what is driving this growth, and what does it mean for the future of the Indian economy?

Despite facing numerous challenges, the country has continued to flourish and attract international investors. In this event, we will be exploring the Indian economy and the lessons learned by Lord Karan Bilimoria, former CBI President, who has had a front-row seat to India’s economic transformation.

Lord Karan Bilimoria is a prominent figure in both the UK and Indian business communities. As the founder of Cobra Beer and a member of the House of Lords, he has a unique perspective on the relationship between the two countries, particularly in regards to trade and investment.
