Ambassador Dr. Desra PercayaIndonesian Ambassador to the UKAmbassador Desra Percaya, Ph.D. is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Kingdom, also accredited to Ireland and the International Maritime Organization.
Throughout his career, Ambassador Desra has been deeply engaged in shaping Indonesia’s foreign policy,
particularly in the areas of international peace and security, disarmament, human rights, economic development, and social and humanitarian affairs.Previously, he served as the Director General for Asia Pacific and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia from 2016 to 2020.
From 2012 to 2016, he was Indonesia’s Permanent
Representative to the United Nations in New York.Ambassador Desra earned his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at Airlangga University, Indonesia. He later obtained a master’s degree from Birmingham University, England (1996), and a doctorate from Durham University, England (2000).

I Gede Putu Wira KusumaExecutive Director, Bank Indonesia (London)I Gede Putu Wira Kusuma serves as the Executive Director of Bank Indonesia’s London Representative Office. With a robust background in public policy and government administration, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing Indonesia’s economic interests on the global stage. 
In his current role, Mr. Wira Kusuma plays a pivotal part in fostering international collaborations and representing Indonesia in key economic forums. Notably, he was involved in preparations for the G20 meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, where he coordinated with Indonesian diplomatic representatives to ensure effective participation.

Siti Tiefryani FahlyahDirector, Indonesian Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC)Siti Tiefryani Fahlyah is the Director of the Indonesian Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) in London, a strategic overseas office under the Ministry of Investment/BKPM. In this role, she leads efforts to attract and facilitate foreign direct investment into Indonesia, focusing on promoting opportunities across sectors including services, infrastructure, and economic zones.
With a solid academic foundation in international relations from Padjadjaran University (S.IP., 2005) and a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (M.Sc., 2011), Ms Fahlyah brings a strong analytical perspective to investment policy and international engagement.
Prior to her appointment in London in December 2023, she held various strategic roles within BKPM, including in the Directorate of Business Licensing Services (2018–2023), and in investment planning for services, infrastructure, agriculture, and natural resources. Her diverse experience equips her with a deep understanding of Indonesia’s investment landscape and regulatory environment.

Sarah LauHead of the China and ASEAN desk, Irwin Mitchell LLP.Sarah Lau is Head of the China and ASEAN desk at Irwin Mitchell, the UK’s largest national law firm with 20 offices across England, Scotland and Wales. She has a background in International Commercial Law and advises on multiple aspects of law, including corporate, commercial, real estate, immigration, employment, and crime. Sarah was also Manchester’s first Chinese Barrister-at-law, called to the English Bar in 1998 and was a practising barrister for 11 years. She can advise both East Asian and UK clients that which to expand their
operations internationally and can also educate on best-practices for conducting business cross-culturally. -
Angus Robertson MSPCabinet Secretary, Scottish GovernmentAngus Robertson MSP is Scotland’s Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture. He represents Edinburgh Central in the Scottish Parliament and leads on international relations, constitutional policy, and culture.
