Puneet Gupta OBE

Puneet Gupta is the Co-Owner and Joint CEO of PG Paper Company Ltd, an award-winning company based in Scotland, UK, and one of Scotland’s largest and most successful exporters with a presence in 55 countries. A solution-driven paper company, PG Paper works with mills and their prime, side-run and stock capacity, supplying end-users in local markets from order to delivery. The company’s achievements have been recognised with awards from various chambers of commerce, Ernst & Young, The Herald Family Awards, Scottish Export Awards, Scottish BQ Awards, Scottish Asian Business Awards, BDO British Indian Awards and the Scottish SME Business Awards.

Puneet is an experienced Joint Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the paper and forest products industry. He is a strong business development professional skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations Management, Strategy, and Management. He has broad industry experience gained in both the public and private sectors ranging from hospital management to pharmaceutical management consultancy, and now as an entrepreneur with a diverse business portfolio.

Puneet is a benefactor of many local, national, and international charities, with a particular focus on those working within the spheres of improving outcomes for disadvantaged children, environmental sustainability, and medical research. He also holds several trustee positions, directorships, and board memberships. His business and family ties ensure a strong and enduring connection with India. He is married with two teenage daughters. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde.

Most recently, Puneet was awarded the honour of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Business, Charity and the Community in the 2023 New Year Honours List.
