Mary Henderson

Mary Henderson is a final-year student at the University of St Andrews, reading Modern History and International Relations. 

With a keen interest in international security and diplomacy, she contributes to a number of foreign affairs publications, focusing on East Asian geopolitics and the energy sector. Mary has been actively involved in student journalism, holding the position of News Editor for the independent student newspaper, The Saint.

Mary’s Mongolian and Scottish heritage has inspired her strong interest in promoting cross-cultural connections and cooperation. Recent experience working for the British Embassy in Mongolia gave her valuable opportunities to put her ideas into practice, and she looks forward to developing this further as a Student Ambassador for the Asia Scotland Institute.
