Biography
Roger brings over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry to his role as Senior Advisor at the Asia Scotland Institute.
He has held senior roles at Baillie Gifford, during a period of significant growth for the firm, where he spent over two decades building the firm’s relationships with global investment consultants across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia, and served as a member of several of the firms flagship Product Groups. He has chaired and hosted senior level events and forums, building deep, trusted relationships with senior leaders across the investment world.
Roger graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Organisation from Heriot Watt University in 1992, and began his career working in Hong Kong. He brings a blend of global perspective, board-level governance experience and a long-standing personal interest in Asia’s markets and business culture.
