Russell Dalgleish Steps Down from the Board

The Asia Scotland Institute has announced that Russell Dalgleish has stepped off its Board owing to pressures of other activities, especially his involvement with the Scottish Business Network. “Russell has made a significant contribution whilst on the Board. Roots of Peace: Celebrating Heidi Kuhn’s Global Impact

Heidi Kuhn, Founder and CEO of Roots of Peace, a humanitarian-nonprofit organisation was launched over 25 years ago. The Asia Scotland Institute had the privilege to host Heidi as a speaker when she visited Scotland in 2022 to speak in both Edinburgh and Glasgow before tracing her ancestor’s roots in Old Kilpatrick. During her visit in April 2022, Heidi planted a tree at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, with thanks to the Regius Keeper, Simon Milne MBE. Singapore Regional Representative – Li-Ling CH’NG

The Asia Scotland Institute is delighted to announce the appointment of Li-Ling CH’NG as its Regional Representative in Singapore. Li-Ling is a founding member of RHTLaw Asia, heading its Financial Services (Regulatory) and Technology (FSR and Fintech) Practice, and co-leads its Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Practice. Li-Ling’s practice areas cover securities and financial services regulatory advice, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and ESG and climate-related legal and regulatory issues.
